There are numerous English regular verbs. This is a list of regular verbs that are often used. Don’t be surprised if you find a word that you think is wrongly spelt! As you must know, some words are spelt differently in British English and American English. For example: “Flavour” is British English whereas, in American English, it is “Flavor”. We try to make this clear when it is essential. These are the selected regular verbs that are often used in English. 6AdviseAdvisedAdvisedMeaning: To suggest/to somebody what you think about something or a particular situation and you want them that they should do it according to your suggestion to get the desired result. Example: Our teacher often advises us to study more.
7AffordAffordedAffordedMeaning: to have sufficient money to buy or to have enough time to do something.   Example: 
It is not good to purchase unnecessary things even though you can afford them.
8AgreeAgreedAgreedMeaning: to have the same opinion/mindset as others; to say that you do not any objection to the opinion of somebody. Example: We should agree if something right is told by our elders.
9AlterAlteredalteredMeaning:  to change, to modify, Example: I altered my suit as it was not suiting me well.
10AlertAlertedAlertedMeaning: to warn/awake somebody about possible danger or unwanted situation. Example: Alerted by a noise everybody started questioning what was that?
